About This Spot
Stepping into Legend of Asia feels like discovering a hidden neighborhood treasure where the familiar and the unexpected blend quietly but confidently. The rhythm here is unhurried, a steady hum of diners savoring a variety of Asian flavors without rush or fuss. It’s a casual and inviting space where the warmth extends beyond the décor to the attentive service and the easy flow between sushi bar, buffet, and grill stations.
While it’s true that buffets can often feel overwhelming or impersonal, here, the experience strikes a balance. The variety doesn’t dilute the flavors; instead, each bite—from the vibrant rolls freshly crafted at the sushi bar to the savory notes coming off the grill—feels thoughtfully prepared. The salad bar and assortment of hot dishes invite discovery from one plate to the next, inviting diners to mix familiar favorites like egg rolls and chicken wings with more adventurous seafood offerings and stir-fried vegetables.
There’s a gentle buzz in the air—laughs shared over family-style meals, the steady clink of plates, and the subtle sizzle from the Mongolian grill. It’s that kind of place where the pace is relaxed, but the kitchen keeps a steady tempo, ensuring a constant stream of comforting food reaches the tables. Whether you’re dropping by after a day outdoors or meeting up with friends looking for something casual yet memorable, Legend of Asia feels quietly grounded in its community, welcoming and familiar.
It’s not just the food that shapes the experience but also the thoughtful touches—the prompt refills, the friendly smiles behind the counters, and the effortless flow from buffet to sushi bar to hibachi stations. In a town where options abound, this spot offers something approachable yet thoughtfully done, inviting you to dig in and enjoy the simple joy of sharing a meal.

Legend of Asia was really good. Buffets are either hit or miss with no in between. This was definitely a hit! They were packed, there was plenty of food and it was easy to get your food. I will definitely return. My picture just shows a portion of the food.

Had to give this place a try—and I’m glad I did. Great selection, great food, and the sushi was a standout. At a lot of buffets, everything ends up tasting the same, but not here. Each dish actually has its own flavor, and everything we tried was genuinely good. The service was excellent, too. If you haven’t been yet, it’s definitely worth checking out. Dinner came to about $23 per person, including drinks and tip.

Stopped here while camping and was pleasantly surprised. The food is pretty good. The place is clean and the service is nice. All the usual suspects when it comes to Asian Buffet. They have a nice selection of rolls and sushi. They also have a grill to order with a lot of choices of what you want to add. Will definitely come back.

The food was just typical Chinese buffet fare with a Mongolian grill and some sushi since it simply meets my expectations for a buffet. The inside was nothing special and the food wasn't that special either. Overall, it's not worth the drive if you're outside the area and not planning to go to Blue Springs in the first place, but if you're in the area, then give this buffet a try.

The food I think is better than average of Chinese buffet. The service here is great! They are very prompt to refill your drink and take your empty plate. They do have a sushi and hibachi stand inside to which is fantastic! I just wish there was one in lees summit!

We gave it a try during lunch. I’m not usually a fan of buffets. Everything looked clean and what I had was fresh. I wish they had refilled some of the vegetarian dishes quicker. Some of the dessert items were unfamiliar to me. It would have helped if all dishes were labeled. Server brought refills and cleared dishes. Paid more attention to the construction workers that had come in for lunch. As you can see from my pictures there are plenty of options to choose from.

Decent buffet. We went to a $20 all you can eat and it was good. I enjoy the wide selection, but my favorite is the sushi section. If you eat a lot of sushi, then the buffet is totally worth it. Food isn’t too bad but definitely gotta eat a lot of sushi!
